Sarah's Stride run/walk 2001. More than 1,000 runners and walkers, an increase of over 200 from last year, partcipated in the third annual Sarah's Stride run/walk Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Hart Park, Wauwatosa, under sunny skies and warm temperatures. The event raised $54,000 for organ donation efforts in eastern Wisconsin

Mat Thull, Campbellsport, won the 5k run with a time of 15:01. Scott Jansky, Two Rivers, placed second with a time of 15:30, and Scott Branta, West Bend, placed 3rd, in 15:35.

Branta was also the male ,asters winner and Creamer was the female masters winner.
