Trey Schwab Wins Courage Award
Trey Schwab, Marquette University Men's Basketball assistant coach, was selected to receive the Dr. James S. Wolf Courage Award for his work in organ donor awareness within the past year. The award, named for the Coalition on Donation's founder and retired chairman of the Division of Transplantation at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, is presented annually to an individual or individuals outside the transplant/donation community who played a significant role in nationally raising public awareness of organ and tissue donation.

The award presentation took place June 2 during a ceremony at the Coalition on Donation's spring meeting in Philadelphia. Schwab, who is awaiting a lung transplant, couldn't attend the award ceremony in person, so members of the Wisconsin Coalition on Donation presented him with the award in person in July.
